Privacy Policy

Last updated September 11, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, what information this site collects and how it is used. This is a small memorial site run by family, not a business, so this is a basic notice, not a formal legal document.

What we collect

  • Shared memories. If you submit a memory or message, we collect the name and message you provide. Submissions are reviewed by the family before they are shown publicly, nothing appears until approved.
  • RSVP (when open). Name, email, number of guests, which event or events you are attending, and any notes you add.
  • Basic visit analytics. We use Fathom Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information. It only tells us aggregate things like how many people visited.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share any information with third parties for marketing.

Where it is stored

Submitted information is stored with Supabase, a secure database provider, and only accessible to the family managing this site. We do not keep a local copy of any submitted information: no spreadsheet, no text file, no export sitting on a computer or server that could be lost, scraped, or hacked into separately. The only data we hold is what you see reflected on this page or in the database itself.

Your choices

If you would like a memory or RSVP removed, or have any question about your information, email maricarbaltazar.memorial@gmail.com and we will take care of it.
